Introduced in 2008, TASET-100
revolutionised rail travel in Akarea. With a top speed of an impossible 360km/h, a 0-100 time of just 20 seconds and a maximum seating capacity per-train in the thousands, travel times around the country were completely obliterated; Following in the wake of TASET-100's legacy, the Akarean sleeper-train is a necessity of the past, since citizens, commuters and businessmen alike can now scale the country in a matter of a few hours. Toilets in every car, dedicated smoking cabins, a multi-storey car with a moving restaurant and a dedicated first-class lounge made TASET the most comfortable, fastest, most convenient and most affordable means of transit around the country. |

$32 Million per 10-car unit |
Less than a year after TASET-100
made waves in Akarea's railways, the invention of the Oxygen Battery in the UDSR, Akarea's close trade partner, led to a radical re-design of TASET. A series of aerodynamic enhancements, including the exchange of bi-level cars for longer trains, and a new, sleeker front nose made the train faster, and the on-board nuclear generators made TASET more affordable and fuel-efficient than ever. Despite the loss of bi-level cars, TASET-200 is more comfortable thanks to re-designed seats, while the restaurant, first class lounge, smoking compartments and toilets in every car are retained from TASET-100. |

TX/400 | Electric by means of Overhead Catenary Electricity at 220V DC |
144km/h | Seats 60 Room for 560 standing |
$8 Million per 5-car unit Units can work in tandem |
The latest TX/X type train from
Kron & Kuger, the TX/400 builds on the long-lasting legacy left by the previous TX/X trains. Relied on by commuters the length of Akarea, the TX/X boasts incredible acceleration, going 100km/h from a complete standstill in just 12 seconds, and will quite happily skip along at 140km/h before managing to come to a complete standstill in just another 16 seconds. This makes the TX/400 a fantastic local commuter train, as well as a capable long-distance train for busier sub-urban mainline routes. |

109km/h | Seats 80 Room for 40 standing |
$5 Million per 3-car unit Units can work in tandem |
Akarea's former star of the
rural railways, the SE/30 train's rugged dependability lies in it's state-of-the-art super-efficient diesel engine, which can carry it's load for over 500 miles on just a single gallon of fuel. This makes it an excellent long-haul train for non-electrified routes. |
